Introduction

Our client, a well-respected, internationally-focused organization that provides cultural diversity awareness regionally to a variety of community partners is in need of a Community Sales & Marketing Manager/Director. This is a highly visible and very important role where you will be responsible for developing and executing the organization's sales, marketing, and communication strategies. Salary, DOE: UP TO 90K plus comprehensive benefits including 401K and PTO.

This position is open due to company growth.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, manage, and lead a team of regionally based Sales/Territory Managers.
  • Establish sales-specific targets and goals for Sales/Territory Managers.
  • Oversee and manage Marketing staff.
  • Create and implement viable short-term and long-term sales strategies.
  • Oversee Community outreach programs; community events, ensuring positive relationships with existing partners and collaborators
  • Partner with community and business leaders to optimize existing marketing channels and search for new community outreach efforts within the territory.
  • Lead the design and development of various marketing/sales materials, resources, and communications, including social media/digital marketing, website updates, videos, radio advertising, signs/flyers and other marketing/sales tools.
  • Develop and oversee marketing budgets, plans and execution.
  • Monitor sales trends..
  • Prepare reports to communicate results and success of campaigns to the Senior Management Team.
  • Craft marketing materials that support leadership’s vision.
  • Develop regular reporting and analysis, including key metrics, that accurately reflect communication effectiveness and increased brand awareness of the Program.
Ideal Candidate Must Have
  • Have Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business. Advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of relevant sales/recruitment/marketing experience within a supervisory role.
  • Experience working for small-medium sized organizations, utilizing a localized, hands-on approach.
  • Experience with cold-calling, growing leads organically, attending/organizing local events to “get the word out”, and networking in the community.
  • Prior outside and inside sales experience, in a quota-driven environment, needed.
  • Prior work experience in a non-profit; such as foster care/adoption, social work, local/national charities, educational institutions/school development, study abroad programs, NGOs, and/or community and public relations preferred.
  • Experience managing a small team of direct reports with proven, hands-on management skills and with the ability to successfully lead, develop and motivate teams to meet their targets/accomplish goals & objectives.
  • Must be sales-minded and willing to travel with the Sales Team out in the field.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community. Adept problem-solver and influencer.
  • Excellent follow-up and customer service skills.
  • Prior experience with Sales Force a plus.
  • Company branding experience is a plus.
  • Website and/or graphic design experience preferred. Full understanding of all social media platforms and can incorporate that knowledge into a cohesive marketing and communications strategy.
