One of the leading organizations in Norwalk, CT is looking for a Junior Administrative Coordinator who can wear many hats. Great opportunity for a recent grad with some work experience.   You will be responsible for all visitor relations, general administration and the overall functioning of the Norwalk facility which has over 100 employees.  This company has a friendly, lively and professional culture and they are experiencing tremendous growth.  They offer a competitive salary with a robust 401K and 3 weeks paid vacation.

This position is open due to company growth. 

  • Back up to the Administrative Coordinator during absences (Phones, mail, faxes, invoices, visitor relations, etc.)
  • Ensure the main, sales and upstairs kitchens are adequately stocked each day
  • Maintain up to date file locations, floor plans, parking maps, telephone extensions, and all other administrative documents
  • Revamp and maintain firm's  photo archive on Shutterfly for the company
  • Organize office supplies and work with Office Services Coordinator to ensure adequate supplies are maintained
  • Assist in all logistical arrangements for company social events
  • Notarizing of documents as requested
  • Support special projects as assigned to the administrative department
  • General administrative support in the office
  • Interface with HR
  • Off-site errands as requested
Ideal Candidate Must Have

Education and Experience

  • Four-year College degree strongly preferred
  • Prior experience in a professional office environment preferred
  • Notary public (may obtain subsequent to employment)

Knowledge and Skills

  • Excellent computer skills including (Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
