Introduction

Incredibly successful Import/Export Specialty company is looking for a new Payroll and HRIS Specialist to be responsible for the execution of all payroll activities.  This includes the preparation, accuracy, and integrity of bi-weekly and semi-monthly payrolls. The Payroll & HRIS Specialist will be responsible for project management of the implementation of new company codes in ADP for newly acquired business units. Additionally, the position will act as the interface with and between internal (HR & Finance) and external (ADP) partners on all payroll matters.  Salary, DOE plus incredible benefits, 401K, 3 weeks vacation plus holidays, and work from home one day a week.

Responsibilities
  • Timely and accurate preparation of bi-weekly and semi-monthly payrolls.
  • Maintenance of all personnel and compensation data with integrity and the utmost confidentiality.
  • Coordination with Human Resources to ensure accurate entry of all employee master data.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all employee payroll questions across all business units.
  • Administration of the timekeeping systems for non-exempt employees including review of submitted data for completeness, accuracy, and proper manager approval.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between organization and the third-party payroll provider, ADP.
  • Coordinate resolution of local payroll tax matters with the support of ADP’s tax compliance function.
Ideal Candidate Must Have
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Minimum three to five years payroll 
  • Superior attention to detail
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong work ethic/reliability is a must

  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Strong interpersonal skills and self-motivation
